Effective date: October 8, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information A to Z Fitness (a-to-z-fitness.com/, "we", "us", "our") collects when you visit our website, how we and our partners use it, and the choices and rights you have. By using the site, you acknowledge the practices described here.
Who we are
A to Z Fitness (a-to-z-fitness.com/) is an independent website that publishes high-protein recipes, meal-prep guides and home workouts. The site is operated from Tunisia. For any privacy question or request, email us at contact@a-to-z-fitness.com.
Information we collect
Information you give us
- Emails you send us: if you write to us, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and the content of your message.
- Comments: if comments are open and you leave one, we collect the name, email address and website you enter, your comment, your IP address and browser user agent (used to help detect spam). Your email address is never published.
Information collected automatically
When you visit the site, we and our partners automatically collect certain technical information, including:
- IP address and approximate location (city or country level) derived from it;
- Browser type, device type, operating system and screen size;
- Pages you view, time spent on pages, the page that referred you and links you click;
- Cookie identifiers, advertising identifiers and similar online identifiers.
We do not ask for, and do not knowingly collect, sensitive information such as health records, government ID numbers or payment card details. The site does not sell products and does not require an account.
How we use information
- To operate, maintain, secure and improve the website;
- To understand which recipes and articles are useful, using aggregated analytics;
- To show advertising that funds the site, including personalized ads where permitted;
- To reply to your messages and handle corrections or privacy requests;
- To prevent spam, fraud and abuse, and to comply with legal obligations.
Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We and our partners use cookies, web beacons, pixels and local storage for these purposes:
- Strictly necessary: required for the site to work and stay secure (for example, remembering a comment form or a cookie-consent choice).
- Analytics: help us measure traffic and how visitors use the site (Google Analytics 4).
- Advertising: used by Google and its partners to serve, personalize, limit and measure ads (Google AdSense).
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how the site works. Where required by law (for example, for visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland), we ask for your consent before setting non-essential cookies, and you can change your choice at any time through the cookie settings link or banner on the site.
Google AdSense and the DoubleClick cookie
We use Google AdSense to display ads. Our AdSense publisher ID is ca-pub-3672546083514586.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website and other websites.
- Google’s use of advertising cookies, including the DoubleClick cookie, enables Google and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
- You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google’s Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalized advertising at www.aboutads.info/choices (US) or www.youronlinechoices.eu (Europe).
- Learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services: How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services. See also Google’s advertising policies and Privacy Policy.
If you opt out of personalized ads, you will still see ads, but they will be less relevant to you (for example, based on the page you are reading rather than your browsing history).
Google Analytics 4 (via Google Site Kit)
We use Google Analytics 4, installed through the Google Site Kit plugin for WordPress, to understand how visitors find and use the site. Google Analytics collects information such as pages viewed, session length, device and browser type, and approximate location, using cookies and similar identifiers. We use this information in aggregate; it does not tell us who you are. Google processes this data under its own Privacy Policy.
You can prevent Google Analytics from collecting your data by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Social media and embedded content
We link to our profiles on Pinterest and X, and pages may include share buttons or embedded content (such as videos or pins). Embedded content and buttons from other websites behave as if you visited that website, and those services may collect data about you, set cookies and track your interaction under their own privacy policies.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share information only:
- With service providers that help run the site, such as our web host, Google (advertising and analytics) and anti-spam services;
- With advertising partners through cookies and similar technologies, as described above;
- When required by law, or to protect the rights, safety and security of the site, our visitors or others;
- In connection with a transfer of the website to a new owner, in which case this policy will continue to apply to information collected before the transfer.
Your choices and opt-outs
- Personalized ads: Google Ads Settings, aboutads.info/choices, youronlinechoices.eu.
- Analytics: Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
- Cookies: block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or update your choice in the site’s cookie settings where available.
- Global Privacy Control: where required by law, we treat a Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for that browser.
- Emails: we do not send marketing emails unless you have asked to receive them.
Your US state privacy rights (including California)
Depending on where you live, residents of certain US states, including California (under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA), Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon and other states with comprehensive privacy laws, may have the following rights, subject to legal exceptions:
- Right to know and access the categories and specific pieces of personal information we collect, the sources, the purposes, and the categories of third parties we share it with;
- Right to delete personal information we collected from you;
- Right to correct inaccurate personal information;
- Right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information, including for cross-context behavioral (targeted) advertising;
- Right to limit the use of sensitive personal information (we do not knowingly collect it);
- Right to non-discrimination for exercising any of these rights;
- Where applicable, the right to appeal our decision on your request.
Categories collected in the last 12 months: identifiers (such as IP address, cookie and advertising IDs, and email address if you contact us); internet or network activity (pages viewed, interactions with ads); approximate geolocation; and inferences used for ad personalization. Sources: you, your device and browser, and our analytics and advertising partners.
Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
We do not sell personal information for money. However, allowing Google and its partners to use cookies for personalized advertising may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information under some US state laws. To opt out:
- Email us at contact@a-to-z-fitness.com with the subject line “Do Not Sell or Share”;
- Turn off personalized ads in Google Ads Settings and at optout.aboutads.info;
- Enable the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal in your browser;
- Use the privacy or cookie settings on the site, where available.
We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16.
How to make a request
Email us at contact@a-to-z-fitness.com with the subject line “Privacy Request” and tell us which right you want to exercise and your state of residence. Because we do not maintain user accounts, we may ask for information needed to verify your request (for example, the email address you used to contact us or comment). You may use an authorized agent, who must provide proof of authorization. We will respond within the time required by applicable law (generally 45 days). If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision with the subject line “Appeal”.
Visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland (GDPR)
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or equivalent law gives you additional protections.
- Legal bases: we process personal data based on your consent (non-essential cookies, personalized ads and analytics), our legitimate interests (running, securing and improving the site, answering messages, preventing spam), and legal obligations where applicable.
- Your rights: access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, objection to processing, and the right to withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier processing.
- Complaints: you can lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
- International transfers: our partners, including Google, may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Such transfers rely on safeguards such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses, as provided by those partners.
To exercise these rights, email us at contact@a-to-z-fitness.com.
Children’s privacy
This website is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA and UK). If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please email us at contact@a-to-z-fitness.com and we will delete it.
Data retention
We keep emails and correspondence only as long as needed to answer you and keep reasonable records. Comments and their metadata are kept while the comment is published. Analytics data is kept according to the retention period set in Google Analytics (no longer than 14 months for user-level data). Advertising cookies are kept according to Google’s and its partners’ policies.
Security
The site uses HTTPS encryption, and we take reasonable measures to protect information. No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Do Not Track
Some browsers send a “Do Not Track” signal. Because there is no common standard for how to respond, the site does not currently respond to DNT signals. We do honor Global Privacy Control signals as described above where required by law.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be highlighted on this page.
